Azdyn was a caring & loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend. Growing up, he was a gifted athlete who played & excelled at many sports & made lifelong friends doing so. His passion & knack for motorcycles kept him busy as he was either in the garage working on his bikes, his friend’s bikes or at the track racing or just out enjoying riding with all his buddies. Azdyn had a big heart, larger than life personality who never met a stranger and lived life to the fullest every day. He would do anything for anyone just to lend a helping hand. Azdyn was super funny, always playing around and pulling pranks on people. Azdyn was currently employed by Ambrose Construction, he worked hard & played hard. He & his girlfriend Kari loved their dogs, Titan and Zeke, and he loved his family, with an extra soft spot in his heart for his sister Amaree. His absence leaves a significant void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his mother, Jeni Merrick; father William Crite (Savannah) siblings, Amaree Hampton, Taylor, Shane, Chandler, Christian and Zion. Grandmothers, Becky Duncan and Jeanette Lavenski; Aunts, Jodi Merrick, Marchelle, and Tonette; and Uncle James Crite; numerous great aunts, uncles, and cousins who love him tremendously; and his girlfriend, Kari Parsons.
Azdyn was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gregg Kinney Merrick.
A Joyous Celebration of Azdyn’s Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at Alexander East Chapel. Friends & Family may visit from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
