Barbara (Bobbie) Joan Diver, 88, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at the Good Samaritan Home. She was born on June 3, 1931, in Middletown, Ohio, to the late Dorothy (Jones) and Donald Diver.
Barbara, better known as Bobbie, graduated from Pierce School in Ohio and dearly loved books and reading. She was born with severe cerebral palsy, never able to walk or care for herself. Bobbie was one of the long-time residents, having lived at Good Samaritan over twenty-five years. The family wishes to thank all of those who gave wonderful care to her.
Bobbie is survived by sisters, Peggy Julian (Ken) of Evansville and Emma Lou Scott of Santa Maria, CA; niece, Kathy Fitzmauice (Joe) of Santa Maria, CA; nephew, Craig Scott (Linna) of Placentia, CA; one grandniece and two grandnephews.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at the Good Samaritan Center, 601 N. Boeke Road, officiated by Pastor Tara Powell, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Good Samaritan.
