

She was a graduate of Central High School and retired from Guardian Automotive where she had worked for over 35 years. She had a love for all animals, and experienced great joy in caring for her pets as well as feeding birds, squirrels, strays, and most other wildlife that ventured into her yard. Betty was also an avid reader.
Betty was preceded in death by her father, James “Bud” Marshall; mother, Edna Ruth Garman; daughter, Kreelene Van Cleef; son, David Gardner, Jr.; sisters, Jackie Reierson and Jeanne Howard; and her two cats, Ghe-Ghe and Mayme Girl.
She is survived by her son, Bill (Sarah) Gardner; granddaughters, Kreelene and Lillian Gardner; grandsons, Charles Van Cleef and John Edmonds of Texas; great-grandchildren, Adam and Zachary Van Cleef, and John Joseph, Elizabeth and Catherine Edmonds.
Betty’s request was to be remembered as everyone knew her. Private services will be held.
