
Betty Jean Noelle, 95, formerly of Evansville, IN passed away on Friday August 12, 2016 in Carmel, IN. She was born in Evansville on April 27, 1921 to the late Clarence and Mabel Sullivan Folz. Betty married Edward C. Noelle on June 7, 1947.
Betty graduated from Memorial High School and Lockyear Business College. She was an executive secretary at Mead Johnson from 1941-1947. Betty was a member of Resurrection Catholic Church since 1955 and played the piano and organ during mass for many years. She was a member of the Evansville Country Club and the Evansville Kennel Club. Betty loved her family, playing the organ and piano, reading, and bridge. Playing the piano with her grandchildren and great grandchildren was a very special bond she had with them.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Edward; her brother, Clarence Folz, Jr. of Evansville; and half-sisters, Jeanette Stumpf of San Antonio, TX, and Sue Henry of Evansville.
Betty is survived by her three sons, James (Shelley) of Carmel, IN, William (Jane) of Ligonier, IN and Robert (Vicki) of Central Point, OR; seven grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at Resurrection Catholic Church, officiated by Father Philip Kreilein, with entombment at Alexander Memorial Park Mausoleum. Friends may visit on Tuesday, August 16th from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander West Chapel.
