Bill David McDonald

He attended Clawson High School in Michigan and graduated from Michigan State University. He earned his MBA at University of Evansville.

Bill was an Engineer for 34 years at Mead Johnson. He started in Quality Control and later worked in Package Engineering, Global Business Development, New Product Innovation and finished in Research and Development.

He was a member of St. Paul’s UCC on West Michigan. Bill served on the Board of Directors of Patchwork Central and was Chair of the Church Council at St. Paul’s and Old North Churches.

Bill loved his family and was an avid Michigan State fan.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde McDonald.

Bill is survived by his wife of 34 years, Dee McDonald; daughter, Sarah Freeman (Dan); grandchildren, Abram and Judah; mother, Anna McDonald; Aunt and Uncle, Barbara and Clyde Hodge; cousins, Rick Hodge (Trisha) and Judy Hodge.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Rev. Jeff Long and Rev. Lynn Marino with entombment at a later date at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
