He graduated from Bosse High School in 1951 and then attended Henderson Barber College and University of Evansville. After retiring from Quality Control Management for several injection molding manufacturers, Bill started his own quality control certification company. He was a very active member at Fairlawn United Methodist Church and served on various mission trips throughout the UMC. Bill was an avid golfer and loved to travel. He made many friends and loved telling stories. He loved life, people and especially his family.
Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Miller; his son, Stuart Miller; and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his son, Ronald Miller (Cynthia); daughter, Suzanne Miller; grandchildren, Kris Miller (Ashley), Amanda Hurley (Brandon), Lauren Ratliff (Jeremy), Joshua Majors (Sondra), Cole Cartwright (Wade), Cara Cartwright, Amanda Cartwright, Riley Miller, Cambron Miller, and Alec Miller; and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at Alexander East Chapel with Pastor Randy Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit from 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home.
