

Brad was born to William and Judith (Hale) Phillips on November 12, 1969. He was the first of four children and their only son. He attended Castle High School in Newburgh, Indiana where he participated in football and wrestling.
He loved the outdoors, snorkeling in the ocean, kayaking, and going to the beach, which is perhaps what led him to settle in Florida. His favorite place to visit and spend time was at Garden of The Gods.
He was exceptionally intelligent and a talented artist.
Brad was an Electrical Foreman for Looney Electrical Contractors in Englewood, Florida.
Brad was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Phillips; grandmothers, Marian Wargel and Odessa Phillips; and grandfather, William L. Phillips.
He left behind his father, William (Tony) Phillips; sisters, Christi Phillips, Dr. Amy Phillips (Tina Renda), and Angie Turner (Dan); children, Samantha Smitha (Damien), Michael Phillips (Josi), Kourtney Phillips, Tiffany Bonnell (Justin), and Price Phillips; grandchildren, Braxton, Keelan, Sophia, Kian, Hunter, Kole, Shelby and Emberlin; and longtime partner, Michelle Baines.
Funeral Services will be held at Noon on Monday, July 17, 2023 at Alexander East Chapel. The family is hosting a visitation from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at the Raleigh Masonic Cemetery in Raleigh, Illinois immediately following the funeral service.
