Carol J. Motz

She was a Worthy Matron of Eastern Star Poseyville Golden Fleece Chapter #176. She worked as a secretary for her husband in the insurance business. She was a member of Saint Peter's United Church of Christ in Wadesville. She loved spending time in her garden, especially with her roses. She loved animals and was truly a very caring and loving person to all. She was also a devoted and loyal wife and mother, and also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Carol was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Scott Motz, on March 4, 1966.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Harold J. Motz, Jr.; son, Harold John Motz III (Cindy); daughter, Jeanna K. Motz-Jacobs (Kevin); son, Joseph E. Motz (Aileen); grandchildren, Elise A., Jacob E., Joseph S. and Karl H., Natalie L. and Johnathan E. Motz.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 4, 2014, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Michael Erwin, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Monday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
