Charles Pat "Pat" Payne

He attended Central High School and worked at American Optical for 40 years. He was a member of Oak Hill Evangelical Free Church and a current member of Cornerstone Assembly of God where he was a charter member.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Marietta; brothers, William and James Payne; and sister, Margie Payne.

He is survived by his son, Daniel Payne of Los Angeles, CA; daughters, Diane Southerland of Evansville, Cindy Ruffert (Bob) of Wadesville, IN; Deana Payne of Los Angeles, CA, Amy Webb (Dan) of Evansville; step-daughter, Vickie Beck (Bill) of Evansville; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Cornerstone Assembly of God, 3900 Kratzville Rd, Evansville IN 47710, officiated by Pastor Gary Auten with burial at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Rd, Evansville, IN 47711, and on Saturday from 11:00 until service time at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Cornerstone Assembly of God Church.
