Christine G. Underwood

Christine Gray Underwood, 92, of Evansville, IN passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Heart to Heart Hospice Care Center. She was born on March 14, 1931 in Hopkinsville, KY to the late Garnett and Mamie (Sullivan) Gray. Christine had worked as an inspector at Bristol-Myers Squibb and attended Mt. Zion General Baptist Church in Wadesville, IN. She was a member of the Eastern Star 555. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Underwood; son, Steave Underwood; and daughter in law, Carol Underwood. Christine is survived by her grandson, Troy Underwood (Donielle); great grandchildren, Paige, Madison and Kayce Underwood. Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Rd., Evansville, IN, officiated by Pastor Mike Trotter, with burial to follow at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion General Baptist Church.
