

She attended Airline Baptist Church in Henderson and volunteered at the The Answer Center. Cynthia was very active with the Republican Party in Henderson where she served on the board. She had a big heart. Cynthia was a devoted homemaker who poured her love into her children and grandchildren. She selflessly donated a kidney to a friend from church which prolonged his life. She loved to dance and was very active with Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Cynthia loved her Lord, Jesus Christ.
Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents, Faye & Farris Brill, and Herbert DeWitt; and brothers Joseph DeWitt and Byrnes DeWitt.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Robert C. Timmons, Jr.; children, Melissa Clackum (Rondal), Sherrie Guill (Jed), Robert Timmons III (Jasmine), Joseph F. Timmons (girlfriend, Brandi), Matthew Timmons (Allison), and Megan Timmons; grandchildren, Rebecca, Rondal, Mason, and Maddox Clackum, Grayson, Felix, Lilly, and Maximus Guill, and Dylan, Kaidence, Robert IV, Matthew, Benjamin, and Madeline Timmons; sister, Kaye Byrd (Lee); nephews, Jay Crider and Rusty Crider; uncle, Woody Collins (Linda); and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, December 22, 2025 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois St. Evansville, IN, with burial to follow in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends and family may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
