Dan and I were stationed together in the Scott AFB Fire Department.  We spent many hours together pulling line standby for C-9 Medivac aircraft and had many, many conversations on many subjects. He was my friend and confidant.  It was my honor to have him serve as a member of my wedding party. I miss him but I am confident that he is basking in the glory of the Lord! Rest In Peace, Brother! SALUTE!

Alberta, please accept my sincere condolences for Dan's passing.  As you know, he was on my crew at the Civic Center for many years. May God Bless Dan's Spirit and comfort all of you during this difficult time.

To me this was Dan. Dan and I go way back all the way back to NHS! Even though I was older Dan was always mistaken as the older one. Used to burn his britches then he’d give one of those loud Dan laughs. So full of life and boy did he love Mack! He talked about her all the time. Mack, your dad was and is so proud of you! Dan and I traveled a couple times to Myanmar where this pic was taken. That hot pepper about did him in and of course no milk for miles! I regret the last 8 months of our relationship but I hope Dan knows I loved him. Looking forward to seeing him again and the knowledge and faith that I know I will. Keep things hoppin up there my friend!! Love ya. Damon

I  remember when Mackenzie was at Good Shepherd and, her sweet dad would come in and have lunch with her and play with the kids during recess. He adored his daughter and loved spending time with her.   My ❤ goes out to the family. 

I worked with Alberta at the Evansville Police Dept and she was so proud of Dan.  Her face would light up when he came by to see her.  I know he will missed very much from all of his family.  Prayers sent. 

Dan and I were stationed together at Scott AFB, IL.  We were great friends, even after he was discharged we continued our friendship.  We played golf, went to Cardinal ball games and just hung out together.  I visited Dan in Evansville many times,  when his daughter Mackenzie was born Dan’s life took on a whole new meaning.  I remember that visit well, he was so proud and over the moon devoted to his new bundle of joy.   I moved back to Maine in 2009 and even then we stayed in contact, remaining close friends.   I will miss my friend.  Rest In Peace Dan.  

So Very Sorry For your loss. I worked with Dan at the Jail and often ran into him at airport . praying for your family ........ 

Miss you every day Daniel. You were a great friend and a good, honest man. I will be looking forward to days like this when we meet again, God bless you brother!
