Danny L. Eli

Danny attended Stringtown Elementary, graduated from North High School in 1968, and attended Oakland City University.

He served in the US Army.

Danny enjoyed playing softball for many years in local leagues, one of which was inducted into the Indiana Softball Hall of Fame and he was a St. Louis Cardinal fan.

He formerly played in the local band, Modern Country.

Danny was employed at Working Distributors over 30 years.

He loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending their sporting events.

Danny was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Eli; grandparents, Donna and Earl Eli of Dawson Springs, KY and Herbert and Audrey Littlefield of Princeton, KY.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Eli; daughter, Amy Pritchett (Jeff), daughter, Danielle Hudak (Todd); mother, June Eli; sisters, Debbie Baggett (Chuck), Kim Minor (Steve), Vickie Eli, Shirleen Grasso (Dave); brother, Ron Eli; seven grandchildren all of Evansville; formerly married to Jackie Eli; and many nieces and nephews.

Services were at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 14, 2012, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Pastor Karl Crowe, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends visited Monday from 2:30 to 8:00 PM and Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
