Dave Lynott Lyons

He graduated from Homewood-Flossmoor High School 1974 in Illinois. He attended North Central College in Naperville, IL for one year. Dave then graduated from Purdue in 1978. He was an avid golfer who played at Purdue. He enjoyed sports, especially the Chicago Cubs and the Blackhawks. He was an accomplished radio news announcer and won many awards. For the past 35 years, he was a news reporter for WIKY in Evansville. Dave was a committed volunteer with the Southwestern Indiana Suicide Prevention Coalition and many other charities.

David is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Sandee Lynott.

He is survived by brother, Mark Lynott; many friends and colleagues in both the Evansville and Chicago areas; his dog, Emma and two cats, Cubs and Win.

A Celebration of Life will be 6:30 PM Friday, October 16, 2015, at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road , officiated by Celebrant Carrie Hatchett. Friends may visit Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
