David was the owner and operator of Barrett Appliances for over 40 years. He loved his race tracks and playing craps. David had a heart of gold and enjoyed helping people. He loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Charles Barrett and Rickie Barrett; brother, Elmer Barrett; and sister, Doris Shaw.
David is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patricia Barrett; daughters, Lisa Linton and Lorrie West; sons, Mike Sweeney and Doug Sweeney (Chris); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 10, 2019 at Alexander East Chapel with burial at Alexander Memorial Park . Friends may visit 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
