He graduated from Rex Mundi in 1967 and attended the University of Evansville. He worked at Empire Contractors as an Architectural Designer and also at TJ Maxx as a Security Officer. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal and Indianapolis Colts fan. He loved golf, bowling and dancing.
He is survived by his special friend and caregiver, Wendy Head; children, Carrie (Earl) Young, Derek (Cindy) Head and Stacie Bailey; several grandchildren; and brothers, Ron and Bob Head. David was preceded in death by two sisters-in-law, Shirley and Emily Head.
The family would like to thank Dr. M. Ahmed and SouthernCare Hospice for the loving care they provided David.
Services will be 5:00 PM Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel, officiated by Fr. Ted Tempel.
