David C. Olliver

Dave obtained a bachelor’s degree in Geology from Indiana University in 1976 and received his certified professional geologist license, issued by the Department of Natural Resources, in 1981. He owned Olliver and Associates, LLC, where he acted as a consultant for Armour Trust and Countrymark.

Dave was a member of the Association of Petroleum Geologists and the Indiana-Kentucky Geological Society. He attended St. John’s UCC-Downtown where he served as Council Member and head of the Endowment Committee.

Dave was an avid hunter and IU fan.

Dave is survived by his wife of 32 years, Linda; daughter, Lindsey; son, Scott; sisters, Debbie (Paul) Myers, Diane (Tony) Morton, and Donna (Lynn) Wicker; mother-in-law, Joyce Walker; brothers and sisters-in-laws; and, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday, February 13, 2015 at Alexander North Chapel with Rev. John Branam officiating and burial following in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
