David K Pace

David Kyle Pace, 68, of Evansville, IN, passed away January 17, 2018, at his home. He was born in Evansville on October 15, 1949, to the late John C. and Edythe (Kamplain) Pace. David graduated Central High School with the class of 1967. He then attended U of E and graduated in 1971 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. David was the band director from 1971 through 1973 at Williamsport High School and he was a member and alumni for Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity. David worked as an insurance agent for 25 years including AFLAC. He was a clarinet instructor and a Professional Saxophone Player who played for several local bands including the 57 Chevrolets. He is survived by his aunt, Jean Pace; cousins, Donald Pace (Sandra), Edward “Mac” Pace III (Deborah), Robert Pace (Barbara), Roger Pace (Linda); his best friend, Debbie Crane; and other extended family. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, January 22, 2018, at Alexander East Chapel, 2115 Lincoln Avenue, officiated by Chaplain Keith Turner, with burial in Maple Hill Cemetery, New Harmony, IN. Friends may visit from 3 to 5 PM, Sunday, January 21, 2018, at the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity.
