

David A. “Tony” Williams, 67, of Evansville IN died July 13, 2025 at home peacefully with his wife by his side. Tony suffered from phase 3 lung cancer and only had 4 treatments left. He was taken by our good Lord too soon.
Tony was an honored Veteran, having spent 3 years in the US Army. He recently retired from Lewis Bakery where he had worked 25 years. Prior to Lewis Bakery, he worked as a mechanic at Charlie’s Automotive and a cook at Rick’s 718 Bar & Grill. He loved working on Harley Davidson’s, there wasn’t much he couldn’t fix. He was a hardworking man and will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his father Jack Williams; and step-dad, Bob Breedlove.
Tony is survived by his wife of 37 years, Donna Williams of Evansville; his mother, Nancy Breedlove of Basket, KY; son, David R. “Rick” Williams (Amber); 2 daughters, Lisa Neighbors (Jason) and Kim Jarvis; 3 brothers, Mike Williams, Tom Williams and Roy Williams; 10 grandkids he absolutely adored; and nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions made to his family to help with final expenses would be appreciated.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 18, 2025 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN officiated by Pastor Bill Altman where full military rites will be performed.
Friends may visit on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm and again on Friday from 10:00 am until service time at the funeral home.
