

Delroye was a Principal at Lincoln Elementary School in Evansville, IN. He was a very lovable, respectful person and had a peaceful spirit. He made people smile and would often turn a bad day into a good day. Delroye loved to be around others and he was always the light of the show. Once he entered the nursing home, he began preaching for others. Delroye really enjoyed the word of God.
He always had a positive outlook on life. He was a car man and especially liked Corvettes.
Delroye was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Stoner.
He is survived by his children, Antonio Stoner, Delroye Stoner Jr., Patrick Stoner and Dwyone Stoner; mother, Anna Mae Himphill; grandchildren, Delroye Ⅳ, Bailey Stoner and D’Yon Stoner; and nephew, Ronald Stoner.
A celebration of life service will be held at 4:30 pm on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN, officiated by Pastor Tyrone Edwards.
Friends and family may visit on Saturday from 2:30 pm until service time at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be held at Alexander Memorial Park at a later date.
