

She attended St Ben’s Grade School and graduated from Memorial High School class of ’45. In addition to being a loving mother and homemaker, Dolores enjoyed working at Smith-Butterfield in downtown Evansville and Riverside Downs and Ellis Park of Henderson, where she made many friends.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings, Donald Smith, Eloise Crawford, Ginny Flick, Betty Ehrhardt and Susie Stevenson.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert Cunningham Sr.; five children, Lyn Jones (Max), Bob Jr. (Jenny), Steven, David (Janet) and Julie Ann Cunningham; five grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Alexander East Chapel, with burial in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Wednesday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
