Dr. Cobb tirelessly served the Tri-State area for 41 years. During that time, he helped bring countless new lives into this world. He worked hard because he loved his profession. He was adored by his patients as they always knew he would go out of his way to take the best care of them. He carried that same loving and giving spirit into his personal life as well. He was a loving husband, a devoted father and a doting grandfather who was affectionately known as Papa Doc. He was married to his love, Lisa, for 18 wonderful years.
He took a sincere interest in each of his eight children’s lives. He was always there to support them in every activity or hobby they chose. He was their biggest cheerleader and often the most vocal in the stands. He went above and beyond the normal expectations of a father.
Dr. Cobb was a tremendous part of this community. His kindness, generosity, compassion and heart affected so many of his family members, friends, colleagues and patients. These qualities are irreplaceable and he will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Cobb; daughter, Audra Ramsey; daughter, Erika Maurer; son, Alex Cobb; daughter, Erin Cobb; son, Dr. Damon Cobb; daughter, Dr. Ashley Cobb; daughter, Evie Cobb; daughter, Tiffany Cobb; and his ten wonderful grandchildren.
