I want to send the Dedmond family my deepest condolences for the lost of Mr. Dedmond. I will be praying for peace and strenght for your family in this very difficult time. He was a great man who I respected very much.

Don will be remembered for the wonderful, caring, gentle person that he was and for the ability to make everyone feel important and special.  He had an uncommon generosity and love for others, especially his family. His adeptness to overcome his health problems radiated strength, courage and admiration to others. I am now heartbroken, but left with wonderful childhood memories that we experienced as siblings living in the country. Although many miles kept us apart, I always looked forward to a phone call when he reminded me of stories concerning our youth and hearing his dry witted philosophical outlook on life.
I miss you already, Big Brother, but will  talk another day. Love and God Bless to Jo Ann and family

No words for what you have meant to me. Daddy Don for 62 years you have been a force in my life, one of which I could never repay. The true father figure in my life. I was wanting to come talk to you about my kidneys and now too late. Why didn't I reach out to you sooner, regrets. Your family means the world to me, I can only imagine what it is to be a Dedmond. Always wanted a family like yours, you gave me love that allowed me a small glimpse of a family. You are MY Daddy Don, and I will never, ever forget you. Thank you for the love you have shown and given so unselfishly.  REST NOW DADDY DON, I WILL LOVE YOU ALWAYS,  GIVE MOMMA MY LOVE UP THERE.

Although I did not know all of your family, from my childhood I remember Muzzy, Beeb and Dumpy all being friends of my brothers and myself.

With Deepset Sympathy

Mom tells me of the time I was with Daddy Don at Target and he asked me what I wanted--thinking of popcorn or candy.  Apparently I wanted a Big Wheel.  So he bought it for me!  That's just who he was. I loved Daddy Don and will never forget his love for his family, friends and for me. I am so sorry for your great loss.

Our hearts are so saddened at your great loss. Daddy Don was precious to our entire family. To know that he was a Christian gives you all the hope of seeing him again in heaven.  We love and are praying for all of you as you begin your journey of healing, while remembering each wonderful memory of Don in your lives.  May God's comfort and peace be yours.

Kristi, I am so sorry for your loss. I have added you to my prayer list. Rest in God's faithfulness, and hold onto the wonderful memories.

Mike, Steve, and Todd, I am deeply saddened by your loss. I didn't know the man but I am CONFIDENT he was a lot like you guys. The one thing I liked about each and every one of you was that you were always a rooter for the underdog. You are first-class athletes mainly because you're first-class people. You ALWAYS gave people a chance to figure it out and was the first to shake their hand when they did. Your dad is in a better place now because he was the same way.
