Donald M. Dockery

Donald retired from Kent Plastics after 30 years. He was a life time member of Forest Hills Wesleyan Church, a board member for 30 years, trustee for 20 years, and a head usher. He coached pony league baseball for 10 years. Donald refereed high school and college basketball and football for 20 years. In his 80’s he refereed upward basketball.

Donald is survived by his wife of 62 years Shirley (Koester) Dockery; sons, Donald W. Dockery (Becky) and David L. Dockery (Debbie) of Wadesville, IN, Steve Dockery (Sherry) of Evansville, IN; 9 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter; brothers, George Dockery (Marilyn) of Denver, CO, James Dockery (Judy) of Evansville, IN; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 22, 2019 at Forest Hills Wesleyan Church officiated by Rev. Ray Austin with burial to follow at Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit 3-8 p.m. Thursday at Alexander West Chapel and Friday 9-10 a.m. at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Forest Hills Wesleyan Church – building fund.
