Donald Eugene Drew

Donald Eugene Drew, 73, of Evansville, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021. Don also went by Drew and Duck. He loved to race go-karts in his younger years. He was a mechanic his entire career, and certified by the ASE. Don’s family extends a thank you to the staff of AseraCare Hospice for their care, especially Jane and Sally. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, James and Juanita Drew; and a brother, James Drew Jr. He was survived by his wife of 29 years, Peggy S. Drew; daughters, Deborah Drew-Shirley (Jeremy), Catherine Dix (Johnny); sons, John Drew, Joseph Drew (Renee); seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; step-daughters, Lisa Harper and Teresa Bradley (David); and four step-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Alexander West Chapel, 2100 W. Illinois Street, Evansville, IN. The service will be officiated by Chaplain Rita Vibbert with burial in Sommerville Cemetery. Friends may visit 10:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
