He served as a firefighter for over 40 years, most recently at the Evansville Regional Airport. Donald also served as an EMT and was a member of the Retired Firefighters. He was a lifelong Westsider and graduated from North High School in 1969. Donald enjoyed woodworking and photography.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his niece, Lori Gonyer (Brad); great niece, Emma Gonyer; cousin, Becky Adams; and sister, Barbara Becker.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at Alexander Memorial Park, with burial to follow. Friends and family may visit from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the cemetery mausoleum chapel.
