Donna retired from St. Mary’s Hospital after 25 years of service. She enjoyed weekend get-a-ways with her family, her choir and camping. Donna was a member of the Holy Spirit Choir, beginning in 1996.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henderson, and brother, Michael Cody.
Donna is survived by daughters; Jennifer Henderson (Lloyd Speakes), Beth Phillips (Richard); sister, Johna Joines; brothers, Tom and Steve Cody; nieces, Chris Joines, Riah Cody; nephews, Levi, Justin and Alex Cody; sister-in-law, Barbara Williams (Mike); and 5 grand-dogs.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, December 16, 2019 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1800 Lodge Avenue, Evansville, IN, officiated by Father Alex Zenthoefer. Burial will be held at Park Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday at Alexander East Chapel and Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Annunciation-Holy Spirit or Linda E. White Hospice.
The family would like to thank the nurses at the Infusion Center at Deaconess Chancellor Oncology and the staff at Linda E. White Hospice.
