She retired from Patton Air Conditioning and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She was a past member of the Doberman Pinscher Club of America, Evansville Pure Bred Dog Breeders, and the Evansville Obedience Club. She also taught many classes for the Evansville clubs and helped numerous exhibitors get started in the sport of dogs.
Doris was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Woodie Clark.
She is survived by her cousin, Jerry Shepherd of Wichita, KS; daughter by choice, Jamie Keller of Evansville; and two nieces.
Funeral services were held 12:30 PM Saturday, December 27, 2014, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Martin Nolan, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends visited Saturday from 10:30 AM until service time at the funeral home.
