Dorothy “Dot” (Glouser) Stephens, 76, of Haubstadt, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Deaconess VNA Plus Hospice. She was born October 27, 1939, in Wabash County, IL to the late Albert L. and Alta May (Ice) Glouser.
She was a member of Unity Church. Her close to 30 year employment career included time with Kent Plastics, Snapp Photo, Venture, and Marshalls. Dot enjoyed painting with water colors and photography. She also wrote spiritual songs and children’s books.
Dot was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Robert W. Stephens; daughter, Virginia M. Stephens; parents, Alta and Albert; and brother, Lee and John Glouser.
She is survived by her son, Bobby L. (Debbie) Stephens; grandchildren, Randi Brinkman and Sean Miller; two great-grandchildren; and brothers, Waldo and Russell Glouser.
