preceded in death by her husband David E. Williams, Sr., parents Luther & Meaddie Sanders, several siblings and a great-grandchild.
Dorothy is survived by daughters Carolyn (Wendell) Boutwell, Mary (Tony) Payne, and by son Ed (Sue) Williams. She also is survived by grandchildren Rodney (Summer) Boutwell, John (Ashly) Williams, Joy (Kyle) Thiry, Jim (Amanda) Payne, Ginger (Adam) Doughty, and Joshua (Jessica) Payne. She has 13 great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was a member of New Hope Pentecostal Church in Henderson, KY. She also attended First Pentecostal Church of Evansville for many years. She was a committed Christian and dedicated her life to helping the church and singing at nursing homes with her husband. She was dearly loved by her family. Mom/Grandma with white hair — you will be missed but not forgotten. You brought such joy to all your family!
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at Alexander West Chapel with officiating ministers, Pastor Tony Payne and Pastor Sue Williams with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home and Wednesday 10 a.m. until service time.
