Doug worked for many years at T.J. Maxx Distribution Center, followed by a few years with Rural King and finally landed at Vitro (PGW). He loved to make others laugh. Doug enjoyed spending time with his family, playing the kazoo, camping, watching basketball and napping with his fur-babies.
He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel; sister, Kelly Rose; mother-in-law, Mary Ann Tharp; and fur-babies, Sport, Honey, Sadie and Belle.
Doug is survived by his wife of 34 years, Patty (Tharp) Kennedy; daughter, Kasey; fur-babies, Daisy, Mia and Star; mother, Cathryn; brothers, David, Joseph (Jen) and Michael (Joyce); loads of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and many others that were touched by his humorous, extensive posts on Facebook.
Funeral Services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Alexander East Chapel with Pastor Brian Sorensen officiating. Friends may visit from 2:00 until service time at the funeral home.
