

Earl C. Miller, 82, of Evansville, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2011. He was born February 24, 1929 and was one of five children. He married Laura (Douglas) Miller on September 12, 1948 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
Earl was a 1947 graduate of Bosse High School. He was a member of First Christian Church. He was a former member of Scott Volunteer Fire Department and played on the Scott Fireman Ball team, Ideal Milk bowling team, and a member of Couples Clabber Club. He had been the secretary of Ideal Drivers Association. He retired from Anchor Industries in 1996.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Mary Miller, granddaughter infant Fisher, sister, Betty Schele, and brother, Wayne Miller.
Earl is survived by his wife of 63 years, Laura Miller of Evansville; son, Tony (Jan) Miller of Pensacola, FL; daughters, Pamela (Paul) Blondin, Denise (Mike) Frank, and Monica (Charlie) Voelker of Evansville, and Belinda Wood of Newburgh; 13 grandchildren, Shannon (Mark) Magnus, Michelle (Jeff) Junkman, Angela (Michael) Owens, Kasie (Sean) Appel, Brian (Melissa) Miller, Steve (Heather) Miller, Beth (Kane) Leal, Lisa Miller, Jessica (Brian) Deardurff, Mylaya (Jason) Glass, Jennifer Cougill, Nick Arnold, and Cheyanne Frank; 12 great grandchildren; brothers, Harold (Doris) Miller and Gene Miller of Evansville.
Services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at Alexander North Chapel, officiated by Jerry Clark, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Alexander North Chapel.
