

Edward B. “Bud” Kinkle, passed away from this life on September 7, 2023. Bud was born on February 20, 1938 to Edward H. and Helen E. Kinkle in Evansville, Indiana. He graduated from high school at the Kentucky Military Academy located in Louisville, Kentucky and Venice, Florida.
Bud proudly served in the United States Air Force. He worked for Stewart Warner for many years until it closed. In 1973, he moved to Edgewater, Wisconsin where he had spent many summers growing up at the family vacation home. He became a Sawyer County Deputy Sheriff. He later worked as a dispatcher for the Wisconsin State Patrol. He had his septic service business and in winters would plow roads and drives for his friends and neighbors. Bud was a proud member of the Evansville Masonic and Hadi Shrine. He was a proud member of the Birchwood Wisconsin American Legion where he had many beloved friends. In addition to enjoying his lake home on Lake Chetac, his favorite hobby was racing and collecting jeeps.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Helen Kinkle.
Bud is survived by his son, Don Edward Kinkle; two grandchildren, Abigail Kinkle and Conner Kinkle. sister, Susan (Verner) Partenheimer; brother, J. Robert Kinkle; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Alexander East Chapel with Pastor Cliff Herring officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
