He loved to garden and play instruments. He was a simple man and loved Jesus.
Jack is survived by his wife, Hilda Chatman; son, Stoney (Pat) Chatman; daughters, Mary (Vernon) Hill, Shannon (Anthony) Tenbarge, Heather (Michael) Richter, and Sarah Ricketts; grandchildren, Kevin, Vernon, Franky, Isaiah, Elizabeth, Amber, Ana, and Jackson; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Monday, January 12, 2015, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Karl Crowe, with burial in Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
