She and her husband, Aubrey, formerly owned and operated Wessleman’s Groceries, where she worked as a bookkeeper for many years.
Elna was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Aubrey Ryals; and her twin sister, Thelma Horton.
She is survived by her daughter, Dee Ryals; grandson, John (Susan); granddaughter, Alicia (Josh); and four great-grandsons, Jeremy, Colton, Ethen and Revan.
Services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, January 22, 2011, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. James Cage, with a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Wallace Cemetery in Elva, KY. Friends may visit Friday from 1:00 to 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
The family wishes to give special thanks to the Cage families; her special friend, Carolyn; and the kind staff at Heritage Manor.
