Esther E. Juncker

She was a lifelong member of St. Lucas United Church of Christ, was active in the Women’s Guild, a member of the Friendship Circle Sunday School Class, quilted with the St. Lucas Quilters for many years, and helped in the Sunday school nursery from 1946 to 1954. She was a Den Mother for Cub Scout Troop #29, and served as President of Vogel PTA from 1952 to 1954. She was an active volunteer at Good Samaritan Home.

Esther was preceded in death by her husband, H.P. (Hilbert) Juncker, in 1991; sister, Frieda Foertsch; and brother, Benjamin H. Greiner.

She is survived by her son, Donald R. (Margo) Juncker of Yorba Linda, CA; grandson, Grant R. (Cori) Juncker of Costa Mesa, CA; granddaughter, Meredith (Chris) Banka of Spokane, WA; five great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Marlet (Vernon) Krietenstein of Phoenix, AZ; nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1:00 PM Monday, November 4, 2013, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. Lynn Martin. Friends may visit Monday from 11:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
