She was a 1972 graduate of Bosse High School. She previously worked as a social worker for the Salvation Army Homeless Shelter, Head Start and Arch Crisis Center. She was a loving mother and enjoyed caring for others.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, Nathan and Mary Florence Williamson.
She is survived by her sons, Shaun and Neil Williamson; brothers, Clifford Williamson, all of Evansville, and Alfred Williamson of Boonville; sisters, Bonnie Hand of Greenwood, IN, Pamala Renninger, Patti Savage, both of Carmel, IN, Melissa Daugherty of Newburgh and Kathy Stroud of Orlando, FL; grandson, Dylan Williamson of Florence, SC; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Duane Allison, with burial in Shiloh Cemetery, Reo, IN. Friends may visit Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
