Florence was a homemaker and was devoted to her family and friends. She had a big heart, was loved by many, and she is and always will be our best friend.
Florence was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Edward B. Fingerhut; and parents, George and Marion Peek.
She is survived by her daughters, Flora Fisher (Joe) of Evansville, Nora McCoy (Harold Wayne Shahan) of Mt. Vernon, IN, Lisa Abell (Dale Bell) of Arizona and Donna Fingerhut (partner Karyn Ballard) of Florida; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brothers, George, Johnny, Danny, and Bobby Peek; sisters, Marian VanBuren, Helen Harris, and Betty Woods; and best friends, Rita and Dorothy.
She attended Crossroads Christian Church.
Florence’s family will be holding a private service at a later date.
