

Frances Goldsberry, 82, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013, at Deaconess Hospital. She was born July 26, 1931, in Mt. Pleasant, TN to the late Everett C. and Mary A. (Marshall) Serrett.
She was a member of Pleasant Chapel General Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She taught the teen class and loved her students. She was a homemaker and devoted her life to her family and her church. She was an avid reader and loved working in her yard and taking care of her house.
Frances was preceded in death by her sons, Charlie and Larry Bozeman; her parents; and eight siblings.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, William “Bill” Goldsberry; son, Ray Bozeman; daughters, Debra (Bozeman) Beck, Teresa Patterson and Kemberly (Troy) Herode; sister, Imogene Culyer; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11:00 AM Friday, November 1, 2013, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Tony Seale, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
