She was an LPN for 20 years at Deaconess Hospital and VNA Extended Care. She was a member of Methodist Temple and a 50 year member of Order of the Eastern Star – Robert Morris #87 and Daughters of the Nile #41. She was also active in the PTA in her early years.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, in 1984.
She is survived by her sons, Ronald and Randall Pursley, both of Evansville; granddaughter, Tiffany Okes (Jeremy); great-grandson, Logan Okes, both of Lynchburg, VA; sister, Opal Henning of Evansville; and brother, R. Jesse Stout of Ft. Collins, CO.
Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Alexander East Chapel, officiated by Rev. Chris Neikirk, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home, with a memorial service at 6:30 PM by Robert Morris Chapter #87 of the Eastern Star.
