Gary W. Davis

Gary was of Christian faith.

He was a Vietnam veteran, serving two tours of duty as a hospital corpsman attached to the Navy Sea Bees.

Gary worked 35 years at Deaconess Hospital in the Radiology Department. The last 15 of those years he was the Clinical Instructor at Deaconess Hospital for Radiology students attending USI. He loved being a teacher and enjoyed his students.

He was a retired member of ARRT and ASRT.

Gary was an avid reader and has a large book collection.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Karen S. Davis; son, Michael E. Davis and wife, Dana; sisters, Phyllis Johnson and husband, Rex; and Judi Weatherford and husband, Herb.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at Alexander East Chapel. A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
