Gary Wayne Deering, 51, of Evansville, IN passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026, at Deaconess Midtown Hospital. He was born on October 1, 1974, in Hawthorne, CA to Gary Lee, Sr. and Doris (Lively) Deering.
He was a dedicated steel worker for 15 years at Wright Steel. He enjoyed race cars and watching racing in Chandler, IN and Tri-State Speedway. As a mechanic, Gary could fix anything and had a love for anything loud, including trucks. He had a passion for animals, especially dogs.
Gary was preceded in death by his mother, Doris (Lively) Deering.
He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Jenny M. Deering; son, Dalton W. Deering; grandson, Colten James Rutledge; siblings, Gary Deering, Jr., Donnie Baldwin, Vivian Baldwin, David Baldwin, Stacey Deering; father, Gary Lee Deering; and nieces and nephews.
No services will be held at Alexander East Chapel.
