He served in the US Navy and worked at Turoni’s Pizza. He attended 12th Avenue Baptist Church.
Gene is survived by his guardian, Angela Goedde; and his brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Rev. John Sloan, with burial in Tupman Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
