Goldie (Hall) Powell, 83, of Evansville, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2014, at Westpark Rehabilitation Center. She was born September 28, 1930, in Baskett, KY, to the late Riley and Violet (Brown) Hall.
Her hobbies included cooking and collecting cookbooks. She also loved gospel music. She retired from Craddock Furniture.
Goldie is survived by her son, Raymond (Linda) Powell; grandson, Derek Powell, Sr.; great-grandson, Derek Powell, Jr.; great-granddaughter, Annelee Powell; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law, Lizzie Phillips; step-grandson, Derek (Haley) Fritts; and step-great-granddaughter, Emery Grace.
Graveside Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 16, 2014, in Baskett Cemetery in Baskett, KY.
