Harold R. Buehn Jr.

Harold Raymond Buehn, Jr, 63, of Evansville, IN, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2016, at St. Mary’s Medical Center. He was born in Norfolk, Virginia, the oldest son of Harold Raymond Buehn, Sr. (deceased) and Dorothy Buehn Marshall of Evansville, IN.

Harold retired in 2015 after 44 years in the Heating and Air Conditioning Industry. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family. He also enjoyed traveling, especially when going to see extended family. He was an elder in the Evansville Northeast Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He helped build many of the Kindgom Halls in the Tri-State area.

Harold was the beloved husband and is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sharlyn (Chappell) Buehn, his high school sweetheart; a dear father and grandfather, he is also survived by his two sons, Samuel (Amy) Buehn of Newburgh, IN, Andrew (Kristin) Buehn, of Evansville, IN and four granddaughters, Alexis, Emily and Madelyn Buehn and Hannah Ubelhor; brothers, Robert and John Buehn; sister Eda (Jeff) Emge; many brothers and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many cherished cousins.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Wednesday, August 24, 2016, at Alexander East Chapel, with interment at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Wednesday from 12:30 PM until service time at the funeral home.
