

Harold Winston Foerster, 90, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Transcendent Heathcare in Boonville, IN. He was born November 2, 1925, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Charles and Florence (Hunter) Foerster.
Harold was an Army Veteran serving in WWII. He was a 1950 graduate of Evansville College. He retired from Swift Meat Packing Company after 35 years of service. Harold was a lifetime member of Forest Hills Baptist Church, where he served as a past Trustee, past Superintendent of the Sunday School, and was active in the choir.
He was an avid genealogist. Harold took great pride in his handmade Lionel Trainset Christmas display. He enjoyed spending time with family on the river. He passed his love for boating on to all his children.
Harold was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Foerster and sister, Marian Oakley.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Galloway) Foerster; son, Kyle Conner (Rosie); daughter, Faith Ann Wheeler (Danny); and sons, Sam Conner (Amy) and Blake Foerster (Lisa); grandchildren, Kaci Leaf (Nick), Sarah Conner-Flowers (Andrew), Melissa Schenck (Chad), Emily Conner, Mollie, Jackson, and Charlie Foerster and Olivia and Allison Paddock; great grandchildren, Evan and Elaina Schenk; and sisters, Jean Platos and Charlene Christensen.
Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 25, 2015, at Alexander West Chapel, officiated by Pastor Tyrone Edwards, with entombment in Alexander Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
