Helen “Lucille” Brinkley, 83, of Evansville, passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Deaconess Hospital. She was born November 27, 1932, in Springfield, MO, to the late Otis L. and Ada (Whited) Malicoat.
She was a retired Avon sales representative, and she loved her Avon sales and the fellowship with her customers and fellow sales representatives. Helen loved her yard and flowers. She had a great love for her family, especially her great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Otis L. Malicoat, Jr; sisters, Alma Peters, Dorothy Rogers and Irene McGinnis, and grandson, Jason David Brinkley.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Carrol Lee Brinkley; children, David (Connie) Brinkley of Sherrills Ford, NC, Rebecca Chandley of Evansville, Elizabeth Johns of Evansville, and Timothy Brinkley of Evansville; brother, Harold (Charmaine) Malicoat; 10 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be 9:30AM, Friday, September 9, 2016, at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road, officiated by Rev. James Pickerill.
