Helen Louise (Kaiser) Grimm, 96, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Crossing Assisted Living Facility, in League City, Texas. Helen was born in British Columbia, CA on March 29, 1925 to the late Henry Kaiser and Lena (Kuhlemann) Kaiser.
Helen grew up on a farm of which she had many happy memories. Later in high school she assisted her family in running a hotel in Cherhill Alberta, Canada. She was youngest of six children, all deceased. She attended grade school in a one-room school house in Glenevis and high school in Cherhill both in Alberta, Canada. She graduated Business School at Alberta College in Edmonton Alberta, Canada. Helen married Willard A. Grimm in March, 1953. He owned his own business, a heating and air conditioning contractor on the westside of Evansville. She assisted him in his business. When he retired, she went to work for Koch Label as an Accounts Payable and Customer Service Representative. When she retired she was a tireless volunteer primarily at Visiting Nurses Association and Altrusa Clubs.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willard Albert Grimm who passed away in December, 1983; siblings, Martha Gudmondson, Heine Kaiser, Lean Korber, Mary Pich and Anna Sutherland.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Karen L. Grimm of League City, Texas.
Graveside Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at Alexander Memorial Park. The service will be livestreamed beginning at 10:50 a.m. at www.facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA.
