She retired from the University of Evansville where she was a personnel assistant for 30 years.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Jane Olmsted; brother, John Olmsted; and sister, Louise Olmsted.
She is survived by her son, Michael (Anita) Horn; daughters, Julie (Kevin) Collins and Elizabeth (Randy) Burden; grandchildren, Clara (Simon) Kallner, Jane Collins, Theron, Terra and Trace Cummings, Sterling Burden and Crystal Triplett; great-granddaughter, Adele Rose Kallner; sisters, Susan Baldwin and Anne Johnson; nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ralph and Jane Olmsted Scholarship Fund at the University of Evansville.
