Jacquelyn was born in Paducah Kentucky on October 17th 1931 to Ora Mays (Earles) Vlaholeas and George Louis Vlaholeas. She attended Central High School in Evansville IN. She continued to live in Evansville and worked at Bristol Myers for 45 years, she deeply enjoyed her work and did so happily to support herself and her daughter.
Jacquelyn is survived by her only child Toni Cobb, who she doted on and loved dearly. Motherhood was Jacquelyn’s true calling; she showed endless love and imparted wisdom to her daughter that granted her strength and grace in life. Jacquelyn had a passion for children and cared for the children she lived near and of those she loved. Jacquelyn and Toni spent the majority of their time together on trips and adventures. Jacquelyn ensured her life was centered around fun and caring for others.
In death, Jacquelyn is reunited with her brother, George Donald Vlaholeas and her best friend, Ruby Corbett both of whom she was incredibly close with in life and thought of continuously up to the time of her death.
Jacquelyn will always be remembered with love and respect for her compassion and her strength of character. Now that Jacquelyn is in heaven, every shooting star seen is a symbol of her never ending love for her family and friends.
